An Album of Electroacoustic Flute Works composed and performed by Kelly Catlin

Background:

There’s a deficiency in the electroacoustic flute repertoire: tonal and melodically-based flute music that utilizes the technology and innovative synthesized sounds available today. Enter Backstory, an album of my original electroacoustic flute music. For this album, I composed and recorded new electroacoustic flute pieces that will hopefully inspire flutists to learn and use skills in music technology. For each piece on the album I wrote a performance/equipment guide for flutists, complete with instructions on how to use necessary, industry-standard equipment.
